As a cinematographer, my intention for ''The Taste of a Sole'' was to visually convey the unsettling atmosphere and tension of the story as it unfolds. The plot centers around a couple who visit a sommelier, who begins to exhibit strange behaviour that leads to a chilling revelation at the end.
To achieve this, I employed slow and deliberate camera movements to create a sense of unease and discomfort for the audience. Close-ups will be used to capture the emotions and reactions of the characters, allowing the audience to feel a connection to the characters' experiences. I will also use muted color palettes to create a sense of tension and unease.
Ultimately, my intention was to create a film that will keep the audience on the edge of their seats and leave them with a sense of lingering unease long and elicit laughter and sneers after the credits have rolled.
