Fodya explores the daily lives of the hard-working people on a regenerative tobacco farm in
Zimbabwe. Through intimate portraits, Hannah captures the interlinked relationships that exist between land, labour and farmer. The images show a sense of time through the processes which have taken place on the farm from growth and reaping of the tobacco plants to the drying process. With approximately one hundred and fifty thousand tobacco farmers in Zimbabwe providing jobs, Hannah’s work celebrates the tireless efforts of both the farm workers and the farmer.
